Homework

Homework will be handed out every Friday and is expected to be returned to school on Thursday.

Spellings

Every two weeks, on a Friday afternoon, we will hand out super sentences. The children will have two weeks to learn the spelling, punctuation and grammar presented in the sentences before they are tested on the second Friday. the test date will be displayed on each set of super sentences.

We will also hand out a short list of spellings every Friday. The children will be tested on these spellings every Friday morning and then given a fresh set of spellings to learn.

Reading Books

Please can reading books come into school every day as your child will need to change them regularly. Please leave a comment in your child's reading record, your comments are a valued part of the learning to read process.

Water bottles

Don't forget your child needs a water bottle in school. They are kept in the classroom and available apart from during focussed teaching time.
