Science
Intent
Children at Woodside will be able to plan and predict, investigate and observe, record, analyse and evaluate as part of working scientifically. They will know how to conduct fair investigations and use scientific equipment. Children will develop a strong knowledge of these skills and will provide the foundations for our future scientists.
Implementation
Science at Woodside is supported by the CPG programme of study. It has been carefully sequenced to ensure knowledge and skills are built upon and developed over time.
Impact
Children's science skills and knowledge are assessed using the criteria provided by CPG, that is in line with the National Curriculum for Science.
